Finder of the Way

Stiltholme squats in the marshes of the Duin delta, clinging to life by charging tolls for the few safe routes across. The water's not fit to drink; in turn, they are extorted for their survival by the Dwarves of the foothills of the Spine of the World, who supply them with small beer.

High summer approaches. The fen stinks; seasonal fevers and outbreaks of Runny Fundament stalk the swamps. The barrels have run low.

The brewery wagon from the hills is late.
