Huh!

Quiescence started out life as a couple of short stories, which I wrote around...2006, I think?

At the time, I wasn't horrible, but I rather think I'm a better person now. I certainly have a better grasp of punching up vs. down. There are things I've written — lines, paragraphs, plot points, entire pieces ­— which I wouldn't, now.

Today I went to fix a line in Quiescence which I suddenly recalled as being, in particular, something I don't want to put out into the world. But lo: turns out I already did! I have no idea when!

So that was nice. Made a minor cosmetic tweak or two, since I was there; had to remember how to pack epub files; all good.
