It’s not so unusual, on Rainworld, for even a Perfect to end up with a cybernetic limb — an accident, perhaps, or even an essentially cosmetic surgery. It takes a good deal of resources, and true dedication — some might say depravity — to go further: to deliberately shed as much of your flesh as medically feasible and replace it with mechanical systems.
