The Dwarven metro-hegemon of Sov Raeð has, for a generation, been a propaganda victory for the Omofonic Polyfora Tekhnikal.

Having chased off the running dogs of the stratós-plutonic complex, the glorious Citizens-Tekhnikal of the Dwarven Ergonotariat embarked on a programme of public works unmatched in millennia. The decadent temples, hedonic mansions and vainglorious monuments of the old order were put to the sledgehammer, in favour of social housing, modernised infrastructure, and a glorious brutalist facelift in the peoples' name.

Naturally, in the general way of things, the people who ended up in charge afterwards are unutterable bastards.
