Second Edition

I spent a long time saying that Rainworld's first edition was it: I might do extra plugins for it, if an idea came to me, but life is too short to spend on a major overhaul of the core game.

But it kept nagging at me. My first major game design project, consciously rooted in 90s game design...I couldn't help feeling it could be done better, if I let go of those conscious 90s roots. If, like so many terrible 90s games, I did a redesigned second edition.

So. The game I swore I wasn't going to make, the overhauled edition of Rainworld I said was a waste of time too far: Rainworld R2, now available on itch dot io.
